Radiant Minds: The World of Oliver Sacks is an Audible Original Podcast series investigating consciousness, the brain, and the human experience, drawing inspiration from the work of Oliver Sacks. Oliver cared for people with misunderstood neurological conditions at a time when many in the medical community had turned their backs on them.

Indre Viskontas, the series host, is a neuroscientist at UCSF as well as a soprano, creative director of Pasadena Opera and science communicator. Indre knew and worked with Dr. Sacks for many years, and she recently directed the Michael Nyman opera “The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat.” She has hosted two other podcasts, Inquiring Minds (which has been downloaded more than 13 million times and Cadence (about music and the brain), which is available on iTunes.
